Development Project Manager

We are proud to be partnering with an ambitious Social Housing provider with plans to build 2000 homes over the next decade, who are looking to appoint a Development Project Manager. This will be a full-time position based in a regional location, with an agile working policy and a competitive salary.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Section 106 agreements, land-led sites, and the full development journey. Key responsibilities will include:
- Spearheading the Development journey including; Planning, Contract Negotiation, Risk Assessment and Financial Appraisal
- Supporting the identification of new development opportunities through site finding, Section 106 bidding and working with the development team
- Testing the viability and deliverability of opportunities by undertaking site visits, reviewing scheme documentation
- Managing the journey of the Grant Claim process, and ensuring records can withstand stringent audits
- Supporting the wider organisation with rent setting, forecasting, cashflow and audit/charging
Requirements:
- Experience required: Experience required in Social Housing
- Experience in domestic development projects
- Skills, knowledge and expertise required: To fully understand the development process from planning, contract negotiation, risk assessment to financial appraisal
- Strong level of financial literacy, commercial awareness and understanding of how to develop a risk management framework
