Job Title: Facilities Operative

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Facilities Operative to join our team at Fresh Direct in Bicester, Oxfordshire. As a Facilities Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our depot and office areas, ensuring that all buildings and yard areas meet BRC, food safety, and Health and Safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of depot and office areas
  • Ensure all buildings and yard areas meet BRC, food safety, and Health and Safety standards
  • Perform outdoor maintenance tasks, including watering and tending to plants, trimming shrubs and bushes, and weeding
  • Assist with waste collection and segregation, accepting and distributing deliveries within the site premises
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as painting

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a maintenance or operations role
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
