Job Title: Facilities Operative

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Facilities Operative to join our team at Fresh Direct in Bicester, Oxfordshire. As a Facilities Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our depot and office areas, ensuring that all buildings and yard areas meet BRC, food safety, and Health and Safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of depot and office areas, including cleaning and litter picking, and maintaining housekeeping of allocated areas.
  • Assist with waste collection and segregation, and accept and distribute deliveries within the site premises.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as painting, and assist with outdoor grounds and landscaping, including watering and tending to plants and trimming shrubs and bushes.
  • Work in outdoor environments throughout the seasons, helping to maintain outdoor grounds and landscaping.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities role is desirable, but not essential.
  • Counterbalance license training is favourable, but not essential.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
