Compliance and Risk Lawyer Opportunity

A leading UK law firm is seeking a skilled Compliance and Risk Lawyer to join their team in Bristol. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management and compliance, with a focus on contract management and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive regulatory risk training to ensure the firm's compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislative and regulatory changes, ensuring policies and procedures are promptly updated.
  • Address regulatory risk and compliance issues, providing guidance on legal documentation, framework terms, and contracts.
  • Assist in the onboarding of firm suppliers, reviewing contract terms and conducting due diligence assessments.
  • Review client engagement terms, codes of conduct, and KYC advice, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Advise on secondment terms for new and existing secondments, ensuring compliance with firm policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the prompt delivery of client pitches and questionnaires, ensuring timely and accurate responses.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years PQE in a risk management or compliance role.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proactive approach to resolving problems and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
