About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Community Fundraising and Partnerships Officer to join our team at FORWARD. As a key member of our Business Development and Strategy team, you will play a crucial role in securing funding to support our ambitious growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure grants from trusts and foundations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including trusts, foundations, and corporate partners.
  • Research and identify new funding opportunities, and develop compelling proposals to secure funding.
  • Work closely with the Head of Business Development and Strategy to ensure alignment with our overall business objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of our fundraising approach, including the creation of case studies, reports, and other fundraising materials.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in fundraising, preferably in a charity or non-profit setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and pursue new funding opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of motivation and self-discipline.
  • Knowledge of the charity sector and fundraising best practices.
