Nurse Unit Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Unit Manager to join our team at Exemplar Health Care. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing a team of nursing and care colleagues, driving quality, and maintaining high standards of care on your unit.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of best practice in nursing care, excellent clinical and communication skills, and the ability to work confidently on their own initiative. You will be a natural role model, with the ability to motivate and inspire your team to deliver exceptional care.

Responsibilities- Lead your unit's care and nursing teams to ensure high standards of care are maintained
- Provide strong leadership to drive continuous improvement and quality
- Oversee and manage all clinical elements and risks on your unit
- Ensure care plans and risk assessments are completed and reviewed in a timely manner
- Act as the Named Nurse for residents allocated to you
- Supervise and manage the ordering, handling, storage, administration, recording, and disposal of medication
