Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to join our team as a Unit Manager at Lepton Heights, our new care home in Huddersfield. As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of nursing and care colleagues to deliver exceptional care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of Registered Nurses, Nurse Associates, and Health Care Assistants to ensure high standards of care are maintained.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our residents.
  • Oversee the ordering, handling, storage, administration, recording, and disposal of medication.
  • Act as the Named Nurse for residents allocated to your unit, ensuring their care profiles are up-to-date and reviewed regularly.
  • Supervise and manage the clinical elements and risks associated with your unit.
About You

We are looking for a natural leader with excellent clinical and communication skills, who is passionate about delivering high-quality care. As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for motivating and inspiring your team to achieve excellence in care delivery.

You will have a thorough understanding of best practice in nursing care, excellent digital skills, and the ability to work confidently on your own initiative. A good standard of education and a first-level nursing registration with a valid NMC PIN are essential.
