Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to join our team as a Unit Manager at Lepton Heights, our new care home in Huddersfield. As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of nursing and care colleagues to deliver exceptional care and support to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of Registered Nurses, Nurse Associates, and Health Care Assistants to ensure high-quality care and support is delivered to residents.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Oversee and manage the clinical elements of the unit, including medication management, risk assessments, and care planning.
- Act as the Named Nurse for residents allocated to your unit, ensuring their care profiles are up-to-date and reflect their individual needs.
- Supervise and manage the ordering, handling, storage, administration, recording, and disposal of medication.
