**Job Summary**

A part-time Research Assistant position exists in the Department of Engineering at the University of Cambridge to work on the 'UK-India Virtual Critical Minerals Supply Chain Observatory' project.

**Key Responsibilities and Duties**

  • Contribute to the design and development of the Global Virtual Supply Chain Observatory platform, ensuring it meets project requirements and stakeholder needs.
  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and monitoring of activities related to observatory development and deployment.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration with stakeholders, including researchers, industry partners, policymakers, and international collaborators.
  • Reporting and documentation

**Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience**

  • Undergraduate or Masters degree in Computer Science.
  • Experience in digital and virtualisation technologies
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement
  • Knowledge of critical minerals supply chains and their global significance.
  • A proven ability to effectively communicate with academic and industrial partners.
  • Able to collaborate effectively both with the research group members and with external colleagues
  • Research or work experience in global supply chains.
  • Highly organised, able to prioritise and work efficiently to agreed objectives and timelines.
  • Potential to develop a leading role in projects in the Industrial Resilience Research Group.

**Salary and Benefits**

Research Assistant: £31,396 - £33,966 (27% FTE)
