Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and innovative Area Manager for Strengthening & Supporting Families to enhance our Children & Families Services team, which has been rated GOOD by Ofsted.
As an Area Manager, you will oversee dedicated teams located in various areas, fostering an inclusive and strength-based approach to assist families in achieving and maintaining safety within their homes and communities.
The ideal candidate will possess qualifications as a registered social worker and will work alongside a committed group of managers responsible for delivering essential services to families in partnership with multi-agency collaborators.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire teams through effective management and innovative practices.
- Utilize data analysis to monitor quality assurance and report findings to the Senior Leadership Team.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Children & Family Court Proceedings.
- Support social workers in delivering statutory services ranging from Child in Need plans to Adoption.
