Bicycle Training and Secure Storage Coordinator

Position Overview:
Under the guidance of the Bikeability Delivery Lead, this role is dynamic and interactive. You will play a crucial part in enabling children throughout the community to enjoy the benefits of cycling while assisting individuals in accessing safe bike storage solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary contact for inquiries and reservations (via phone and email).
  • Assist the public with their requests and bookings, ensuring a high standard of customer service.
  • Collaborate with team members to manage Cycle Training initiatives, including venue bookings, freelancer coordination, and volunteer engagement.
  • Effectively route more complex inquiries to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
  • Support the administration of the Bike Hangar initiative, under the direction of the Bike Hangar Coordinator.
  • Utilize our database and internal IT systems for precise record maintenance.
  • Provide invoicing and financial data to the Finance department.
  • Contribute to maintaining data security, data integrity, and compliance with GDPR regulations.
  • Assist in ensuring the efficient operation of the office environment.
  • Perform additional general administrative tasks as required.

Candidate Profile:

Possessing outstanding customer service abilities, including a clear and approachable telephone demeanor, you will be a confident communicator, capable of engaging with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Prior experience in administration or customer service is advantageous, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Above all, you will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, a positive outlook, and a passion for ongoing personal development.
