Job Description

Domus Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Head of Information & Regulatory Governance. This is a critical position that requires a strong understanding of governance, risk management, and information management principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead Governance and Compliance Efforts: Develop and implement effective governance and compliance strategies to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  2. Oversee Policy Management: Manage and maintain policies related to information governance, risk management, and data protection.
  3. Complaints and Feedback Management: Oversee the Complaints, Speak Out, and feedback function of the organization, ensuring that all complaints are handled in a timely and effective manner.
  4. Risk Management and Assurance: Establish and maintain effective risk management and board assurance processes, including risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring.
  5. Information Management Strategies: Develop and implement information management strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  6. Audit and Review: Commission regular audits and conduct reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and information management processes and controls.
  7. Compliance and Advisory: Work with key internal stakeholders to review projects and related data to ensure compliance with data privacy laws, and provide advice on privacy impact assessments as needed.
Requirements:
  1. Education: Degree or degree-level qualification in business administration, information technology, or a related field is desirable.
  2. Certifications: Qualifications in governance, information governance, and related subjects such as ISO or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or other relevant certifications are preferred.
  3. Data Protection: Certified Data Protection Officer (C-DPO) certification is required.
  4. Experience: Proven experience in developing and implementing governance, risk management, and information management strategies within a complex organization is essential.
  5. Expertise: Strong expertise in information governance and data protection is required.
  6. Regulatory Knowledge: A strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to social care, governance, risk management, and information management is essential.
  7. Hybrid Working: The successful candidate will have the option to work from home or from one of our head or regional offices.
