About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to provide policy and project support for our new international programme. The programme aims to promote good regulatory practices and support the design of new regulatory frameworks to help shape progressive, international regulatory environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the set-up of the Programme Management Office and policy development for the new ASEAN programme.
  • Undertake research into specific policy issues and coordinate UK and overseas events relating to the programme.
  • Monitor policy developments across the His Majesty's Government overseas network and cascade to the wider team.
  • Help set up and run the Programme Management Office, including support on developing project plans and other project documentation, and maintaining dashboards and reporting mechanisms.
  • Support the development of the Monitoring, Reporting, Evaluation and Learning (MREL) framework.
  • Act as the Risk Coordinator for the team.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently, successfully delivering against competing priorities within a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience of working on cross-cutting and complex projects/programmes.
  • Strong organisation and prioritisation skills with the ability to both see the strategic picture and focus on detail when appropriate.
  • Problem-solving skills and an ability to identify creative solutions that deliver impact.
  • Can demonstrate a political awareness and an ability to see the bigger picture.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience of working with international stakeholders.
  • Experience or professional qualification in project/programme management.
