Senior Economist

We are partnering with a leading international oil and gas business to fill a newly created role as a result of ongoing investment and growth.
This is an exciting time for the business, with a large-scale, unique high-level project recently approved for implementation.
As a Senior Economist, you will report into Senior Management and have huge exposure to working with senior leadership across the global group.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Implementing new economic models for emerging business and new initiatives
- Performing economic evaluations of projects to support profitability and assess economic valuations of assets
- Preparing investment proposals and maintaining economic models to support lenders' reporting and project financing
- Producing planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support business plans
- Conducting ongoing analysis and financial impact assessments to support commercial and strategic decision-making
This is a pivotal role within the group, requiring top talent with relevant experience as an Economist Analyst.
We are ideally seeking candidates from the energy sector, including oil and gas, mining, or regulated industries.
You will have the opportunity to work as part of an exceptional team based in Central London, with 3 days required in the office.
