About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Education and Early Years Assessor to join our team. As an Assessor, you will play a vital role in supporting students to achieve their workplace assessments and qualifications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the role of teaching assistants and early years practitioners, as well as the ability to work independently and make productive relationships with our work placement settings.

You will be responsible for planning and carrying out work placement assessments against nationally recognised standards, formulating action plans with individual students, and ensuring timely achievement of placement assessments.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to build engaging learning relationships with students, and have a passion for inspiring and motivating young people to become our future education and childcare workforce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and carry out work placement assessments against nationally recognised standards
  • Formulate action plans with individual students
  • Ensure timely achievement of placement assessments
  • Keep accurate assessment records of students
  • Manage own appointments, schedule, and student caseload
