Workplace Assessor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Education and Early Years Assessor to join our team. As an Assessor, you will play a vital role in supporting students to achieve their workplace assessments and qualifications.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the role of teaching assistants and early years practitioners, as well as the ability to work independently and make productive relationships with our work placement settings.
You will be responsible for a range of Education and Early Years students, planning and carrying out work placement assessments against nationally recognised standards. You will also formulate action plans with individual students to prepare them for their placement assessments and understand any developments needed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing students on placements to make assessment judgements mapped to competencies
- Formulating action plans with individual students to prepare them for placement assessments
- Ensuring timely achievement of placement assessments to enable students to reach their potential
- Keeping accurate assessment records of students with a variety of evidence
- Effective and efficient management of own appointments, schedule, and student caseload
We are looking for an excellent communicator who is confident and able to build an engaging learning relationship with students to motivate them to achieve to the best of their ability.
You will have a passion and ability to inspire and motivate young people to become our future education and childcare workforce. You will also be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of employers and work placement teams.
