Lead HIV Nursing Services at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust

Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated and experienced HIV Nurse Specialist Lead to join their Sexual Health Service team. This role offers the opportunity to provide expert care, guidance, and support to patients living with HIV while contributing to the strategic development of our comprehensive HIV services.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide visionary leadership and management to shape and enhance nursing services within the HIV program.
  • Actively contribute to the strategic planning and evolution of our HIV care offerings, ensuring alignment with best practices and patient needs.
  • Deliver impactful training sessions, educational workshops, and comprehensive clinical assessments for patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Effectively manage and mentor a team of dedicated HIV nurses, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Your Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse with the NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council).
  • Proven expertise in managing sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
  • Specialized training and experience in reproductive healthcare.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and a strong commitment to providing high-quality HIV care.
