Job Summary
CWP is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Community Mental Health team in Crewe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients and contributing to the development of our services.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the Consultant Psychiatrist on-call rota to ensure 24/7 coverage and provide emergency support to patients and colleagues.
- Manage, appraise, and provide professional supervision to junior medical staff, ensuring they meet the required standards and competences.
- Attend and participate in the academic program of the Trust, including lectures and seminars, to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in mental health care.
- Maintain professional registration with the General Medical Council and abide by professional codes of conduct.
- Participate in annual job plan reviews to ensure the post is developed to meet changing service needs and configurations.
- Work collaboratively with local managers and professional colleagues to ensure the efficient running of services and contribute to management decisions.

Requirements
- MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
- Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research, or management.
- Excellent clinical skills using a bio-psycho-social perspective and wide medical knowledge.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
