About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Land Acquisition Specialist to join our Project Development team at Starlight Energy. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the continued expansion of our development pipeline.


Key Responsibilities

As a Land Acquisition Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Advising on the feasibility of projects and identifying suitable land for development
  • Negotiating land rental and purchase terms, as well as access and cable easements and wayleaves
  • Providing advice to the technical, planning, and solicitor teams to deliver viable projects
  • Representing Starlight Energy in discussions with statutory bodies and community groups


Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely
  • Flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Intellectual curiosity and a passion for the renewable energy sector
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • A degree in a relevant field, such as surveying, engineering, or renewable energy
  • An understanding of the UK farming environment and the ability to hold a full, clean UK driving license
