**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Land Manager to join our Aggreko Energy Services (AES) team in the Central Belt of Scotland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying suitable land for our renewable energy projects and negotiating with landowners, government agencies, and other stakeholders to secure all necessary development rights and consents.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Formulate and implement strategies and processes for identifying potential land sites suitable for renewable energy projects, including conducting land feasibility assessments, land referencing, and due diligence.
  • Produce land rights budgets and programming to support project planning.
  • Negotiate lease agreements, easements, and other land rights with landowners, in collaboration with legal and finance teams and other internal stakeholders, to support the needs of the new renewable energy project.
  • Liaise with local planning authorities, environmental agencies, and other relevant stakeholders to address concerns and obtain necessary consents, permits, and approvals.
  • Manage relationships with landowners and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, addressing issues and ensuring ongoing compliance with agreements.

**Requirements**

  • Extensive experience in a land/right acquisition role supporting energy developments, with good knowledge of the land requirements of energy projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead negotiations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
