Role Overview
Landmarc is seeking an IT Coordinator who will be instrumental in ensuring the effective execution of various projects while supporting IT Project Managers. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the management of project timelines and schedules.
- Coordinating team activities, particularly within product teams.
- Gathering and analyzing project status data, identifying issues and risks.
- Developing and updating project dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide insights for project enhancements.
Effective communication is essential in this position. The IT Coordinator will facilitate interactions among project teams, stakeholders, and senior management, which includes:
- Preparing and distributing meeting agendas, minutes, and action items.
- Creating and disseminating communications such as newsletters and updates to keep users informed about IT developments.
Additionally, the role involves identifying opportunities for process enhancements within the PMO and across IT projects, assisting in the development and implementation of PMO standards and best practices. Capacity planning and resource management are also critical, ensuring that forecasts are maintained and addressing any discrepancies.
Supplier Management
Another important aspect of this role is supplier management, which includes tracking supplier contracts and performance. The IT Coordinator will support the IT Leadership team in budget preparation and reporting, liaising with the Finance Department as necessary.
Collaboration and Support
Supporting the Head of Department and the IT Leadership Team in reporting to various stakeholders is also part of the role. The IT Coordinator will help improve processes and documentation, managing relevant systems and tools, ensuring accuracy and providing training to team members on project management tools.
Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this position, candidates should possess:
- Experience in IT department support or project office management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong time and resource management skills.
- Experience in drafting project plans and schedules.
Desirable qualifications include experience with IT services, supplier interactions, and familiarity with analysis and reporting tools. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are vital, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
