Job Summary:

CBSbutler is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for executing complex hardware design tasks, coaching and developing junior team members, and delivering design artefacts in accordance with company and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute hardware design plans, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery
  • Conduct hardware requirements capture, preliminary design, and detailed design, including analysis tasks
  • Coach and develop the skills of junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver design artefacts that meet company and industry standards
  • Manage people and projects, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in digital and/or analogue electronics technologies, with a strong understanding of the engineering development lifecycle
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Mentor Graphics Expedition Enterprise, analogue simulations tools, and system development tools
  • Strong knowledge of electronics design principles, including circuit analysis and simulation
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and knowledge sharing
