This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled Electronics Design Lead to join the Redline Group Ltd team in a Principal Electronics Design Engineer role. As a key member of the company's R&D team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and sustaining electronic hardware products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics hardware design and development, with expertise in both analog and digital design at system, product, and circuit levels. You will also have experience in designing mixed-signal circuits with an emphasis on very low power, low voltage, and low noise characteristics.

The Principal Electronics Design Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Architectural leadership, with a focus on driving continuous improvements in the hardware development process
  • Applying expertise in electronic hardware architecture design, schematic capture, PCB layout, and microcontrollers
  • Identifying and recommending new tools and techniques to drive innovation and efficiency
  • Collaborating with the multidiscipline R&D team to develop and sustain electronic hardware products

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of global certification markets related to the life safety industry, including CE/UKCA, EN54, UL868, and NFP72. They will also have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid working environment.
