Clinical Operations Lead for Emergency Services
2 months ago
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Band 7 Clinical Operations Lead to become a vital part of our Joint Emergency Team (JET), which operates as a rapid response service aimed at preventing hospital admissions.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust team-oriented mindset, a strong sense of responsibility, adaptability, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
In this role, you will guide and mentor the team, providing clinical oversight and conducting performance evaluations. You will collaborate closely with fellow team leaders and the Clinical/Operational Manager to enhance service delivery and development throughout the region.
Prior experience in team management and clinical triage is essential.
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a seasoned clinician who is passionate about delivering exceptional care, with a background in either acute care, emergency services, or community health.
The successful applicant will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and managing operational staff and services.
You will work alongside colleagues who have extensive expertise in community healthcare.
The team is committed to continuous improvement, innovation, and the provision of high-quality care to patients in their homes, while also collaborating with broader multidisciplinary teams within the community.
We seek clinicians who are collaborative, possess advanced communication skills, can adapt to changing circumstances, and effectively prioritize their workload.
About Our Organization
Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust is a health and social care organization dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to enhance the health and well-being of the individuals we serve, while also empowering them to lead fulfilling lives.
Our clinical teams provide a wide range of NHS services, not only in inpatient and primary care settings but also within the community. These services encompass mental health care for children, adults, and the elderly, forensic and specialized mental health services, support for learning disabilities, primary care, liaison psychiatry, substance misuse treatment, social care, and research and development.
To fulfill our mission, we aim to recruit high-caliber candidates who align with our vision and values. As an equal opportunity employer, we encourage applications from all sectors of the community, particularly from underrepresented groups, including individuals with disabilities and members of ethnic minority and LGBTQ+ communities.
