Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead and shape a dynamic multidisciplinary team in the delivery of evidence-based treatment for working-age adults with moderate to severe affective and psychotic disorders.

Main Duties
  • To lead the staff team on a daily basis in delivering a high-quality, evidence-based community mental health service that meets the needs of the local population.
  • To ensure staff are operating within relevant legal frameworks and to shape the service by using clinical skills and knowledge to support others in their development.
  • To oversee staff supervision, treatment interventions, team duty, and to be the manager on site of public buildings.
  • To work closely with the Advanced Practitioner in the team and to be involved as needed in the complaints process and serious incidents reviews.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong team work ethic, a sense of accountability, and the ability to work under pressure, accompanied by a desire for innovation.

We are able to support agile working for staff, using all appropriate equipment and support, and have a secure area for staff bicycles.

The city provides a good opportunity to be active at work, with staff being able to cycle to local appointments.
