We are seeking a skilled Acupuncturist to join our interdisciplinary team at STEPS Rehabilitation, a purpose-built 23-bedroom rehabilitation facility in Sheffield. As an Acupuncturist, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients undergoing rehabilitation to manage pain, anxiety, and promote physical and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Provide acupuncture services to clients, working within your sphere of competency and in line with professional procedures and guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team, including nurses, physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, and psychologists, to deliver holistic care and rehabilitation.
- Assess client needs and develop treatment plans in partnership with clients and the STEPS team.
- Monitor and review the effectiveness of therapy, modifying as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and contemporaneous documentation, including clinical notes and reports.
- Contribute to service development initiatives and promote high-quality care for clients.
We are looking for an experienced Acupuncturist with a minimum of 2 years' experience, preferably in a rehabilitation setting. You will have a degree in Acupuncture or BAAC certification and be a competent user of IT software packages. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
