Acupuncturist

We are seeking a skilled Acupuncturist to join our interdisciplinary team at STEPS Rehabilitation. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with nurses, rehabilitation assistants, physiotherapists, and other therapists to deliver holistic care and rehabilitation to our clients.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have a degree in Acupuncture or BAAC certification and at least 2 years' experience working with people with care and/or rehabilitation needs. You will be responsible for providing acupuncture to support clients undergoing rehabilitation, promoting physical and emotional well-being, and working autonomously with support from a senior therapist as required.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide acupuncture to meet client needs and in line with professional procedures and guidelines
* Work as part of a complementary therapy team to assess client needs and devise a treatment plan
* Communicate sensitive condition-related information in an empathetic and reassuring way
* Monitor and review the effectiveness of therapy given and modify as necessary
* Maintain accurate and contemporaneous documentation according to STEPS standards
