About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Rehabilitation Acupuncturist to join our interdisciplinary team at STEPS Rehabilitation. As a key member of our therapy team, you will work closely with clients, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide acupuncture services to clients undergoing rehabilitation, focusing on pain management, sleep, anxiety, and overall well-being.
- Work collaboratively with the therapy team to assess client needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with clients, carers, and the STEPS team about the benefits and side effects of acupuncture.
- Monitor and review the effectiveness of therapy, making adjustments as necessary.
- Contribute to the development of service initiatives and promote high-quality care for clients.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a relevant field, with a focus on working with people with care and/or rehabilitation needs.
- Qualifications in Acupuncture, such as a Degree or BAAC Certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to form key working relationships with colleagues.
- Competent user of IT software packages and ability to learn new systems quickly.
