We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Account Director to join our Conventions Sales New Business Team.

The role will support the New Business Sales Director to drive the performance of Conventions new business, across ICC, Vox and NEC. Increasing the profitable occupancy of all 3 venues with new event content. You will need to achieve personal sales targets and mentor colleagues in the New Business team.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience leading a sales team
  • Be a driven and self-motivated sales professional, with a proven track record of successfully winning new business and building relationships with clients.
  • Be highly skilled in identifying new markets and opportunities to generate new leads, as well as ensuring no opportunities are lost.
  • Be commercially sound – has an excellent understanding of commercial drivers and is able to make decisions that achieve the best commercial outcomes for the Group.
  • Be an excellent relationship builder with customers, colleagues, industry peers and clients at a wide range of levels
  • Have a drive and energy to exceed all targets – with a 'hunting' attitude and tenacity for the sale.
