Job Title: Supported Accommodation Home Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a well-established and growing care company providing residential live-in support and supported accommodation for children and young adults with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour.

The company prides itself on providing a supportive environment that enables young adults to develop the skills they need to live independently and become well-rounded members of their community.

As a Supported Accommodation Home Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of support workers and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading a team of support workers to provide 24-hour care and support to young adults with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour.
  • Ensuring the home is run in accordance with OFSTED regulations and health and safety guidelines.
  • Developing and implementing individual care plans to support young adults in achieving their goals and aspirations.
  • Working closely with the care team to ensure the needs of young adults are met and their well-being is promoted.
  • Managing the home's budget and resources to ensure efficient use of resources.

Requirements:

  • NVQ level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent).
  • Experience of working in a residential care setting with young adults with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour.
  • OFSTED experience and knowledge of regulations and guidelines.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team of support workers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary of £33,456 (or £35,550 with NVQ level 5).
  • £60 per sleep-in.
  • 224 hours holiday per year (plus 2 extra days after 2 years of service).
