About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Child Care Worker to join our team at Exceptional Care. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to vulnerable young people with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people, their families, and other external agencies.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a stable and loving environment, ensuring each young person achieves positive outcomes and learning experiences.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring the needs of each young person are met.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 or 4 Children and Young People's Workforce qualification or equivalent.
  • 1 year's experience supporting young people in a children's residential setting.
  • Full UK manual driving licence (preferred).
