About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Oracle Platform Management. This is a key role within our newly created Corporate Hub, responsible for leading the ongoing evolution of our Oracle Cloud service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the ongoing evolution of the service, embracing agile ways of working to support the repeatable and efficient delivery of upgrade, maintenance and change activities.
  • Lead on the delivery of the service roadmap, engaging with specialist areas such as Cyber Security as required and leading the network of business stakeholders.
  • Support the development of agile business cases to support the ongoing evolution and improvement of the service.
  • Be accountable for managing the life cycle of the service efficiently and effectively, managing external and internal partners to achieve good outcomes.
  • Take a lead role in the onboarding of new service customers.
  • Work closely with operational management teams to co-ordinate and plan ongoing change.
  • Work to continuously improve the operational efficiency of the platform.
  • Work closely with leaders of operational delivery teams in digital, data and technology.
  • Employ robust testing practices and processes to anticipate and defend against problems.
  • Develop a long-term vision and objectives for the service, working with architecture and business colleagues.
  • Lead on the development and maintenance of platform training content in partnership with Directorates.

  • Experience of leading a team through periods of change and transformation.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Experience of working with Oracle Cloud and agile methodologies.
