Client Construction Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Client Construction Manager to join our team at Watkin Jones. As a key member of our construction operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction in our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Assess reported quality issues and identify remedial actions to rectify the problem.
- Manage and coordinate the Customer Care Department, ensuring compliance with company procedures and policies.
- Prepare for, attend, and contribute to weekly meetings with operatives to discuss project updates, good practices, and contra-charges.
- Carry out inspections and surveys to ascertain the reason for defects, responsibility, and how to address the issue.
- Meet with clients to inspect items and resolve disputes.
- Produce and revise procedures manuals, including health and safety guidance for Customer Care Operatives.
- Conduct risk assessments and method statements prior to arranging works.
- Take responsibility for continuous improvement, enhancing the service provided, and avoiding defects and quality issues.
- Carry out inspections and surveys for the Managing Director as required.
- Ensure legal due diligence and compliance for all development projects.
- Manage cost plans, procurement routes, and risk identification.
- Prepare and maintain master programmes and project execution plans.
- Chair project meetings, ensuring clear communication and effective reporting.
- Monitor consultant and contractor performance, ensuring compliance and high standards.
