Position Overview:
Carbon60 is seeking a skilled Facilities Manager to oversee the management of facilities operations within a prominent engineering organization. This role will serve as a crucial point of contact for customer interactions and will be based on-site.

Key Details:
Location: On-site
Compensation: £26.45 per Hour PAYE (£48,139) or £35.00 Per Hour Umbrella (£63,700)
Working Hours: 35 Hour Week (4.5 days per week) with flexible scheduling between 7am and 7pm
Contract Type: Temporary Ongoing - Minimum duration of 12 months

Role Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all Facilities Management (FM) functions, including maintenance and strategic construction initiatives.
- Act as the primary liaison for customer interactions.
- Assist the facilities site manager in addressing reactive and unplanned issues that may arise on-site.
- Collaborate with the facilities site manager and Environmental, Health & Safety Controller to address topics requiring attention or improvement, serving as a coordinator when necessary.

Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience in facilities management or building and construction, ideally within a manufacturing or production setting.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and flexible thinking.
- Exceptional skills in relationship building and stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication capabilities.
