Facilities Operations Manager

Carbon60 is seeking a dedicated Facilities Manager to oversee the operational aspects of facilities management within a prominent engineering organization. This role will primarily serve as the point of contact for customer interactions and is expected to be a temporary position with the possibility of extension or transition to a permanent role.
Location:
On-site in Broughton
Compensation:
£26.45 per hour PAYE (£48,139 annually) or £35.00 per hour Umbrella (£63,700 annually)
Working Schedule:
35 hours per week (4.5 days), with flexible hours between 7 AM and 7 PM to be determined upon hiring.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and coordinate various facilities management activities, including maintenance and strategic construction initiatives.
2. Serve as the primary liaison for customer-related matters.
3. Assist the facilities site manager in addressing unplanned daily operational challenges.
4. Collaborate with the facilities site manager and the Environmental, Health & Safety Controller on relevant topics that require action or enhancement, acting as a coordinator when necessary.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
The successful candidate will possess:
- Proven experience in facilities management or building and construction, ideally within a manufacturing or production setting.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and flexible thinking.
- Exceptional skills in relationship building and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent communication capabilities.
