Operational Support Manager

Serve as the primary point of contact for operational employee inquiries and concerns.

Assist in managing direct and indirect costs, including recruitment, training, and expenses, to optimize resource allocation.
Ensure the accuracy of operational data, regularly reviewing and reporting on progress to inform strategic decisions.
Highlight potential risks of significant variances and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
Support the contract in preparing audit and compliance reports, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Assist with recruitment and succession planning to maintain service levels and contingency plans.
Participate in contract development and company-wide initiatives or projects, contributing to the growth and success of the organization.
Respond to reasonable requests from the contract, client, and senior management, including emergency situations, to ensure seamless operations.
Be available for out-of-hours escalations to ensure smooth operation during critical situations.
Perform any other duties as directed by the Airbus contract senior management team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Essential Skills- Valid SIA frontline license.
- Right to work in the UK.
- The successful applicant will be required to successfully obtain Security Clearance (failure will impact any potential offer for the position).
- Good natural communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to transcend multiple cultures and interact effectively at all levels.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
- Must have a full clean driving license.
- Good standard of IT skills, including Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Able to evidence strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative.
- Excellent customer service experience.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience in using rostering systems, such as Timegate.
- Previous experience within the Security Industry.
