About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Terrorism Risk Broker to join our Political Violence and Terrorism Team at Willis Towers Watson. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and developing client relationships, growing our portfolio, and delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Face-to-face broking in the London market and electronically with international markets
  • Working closely with the Global Broking Team to deliver excellence in broking through trust, credibility, and strong market relationships
  • Seeking best terms and conditions for clients and conducting client meetings
  • Client account administration, including day-to-day care of clients' programmes in a timely and accurate manner
  • Documentation production and electronically trading through PPL
  • Providing general advice and support to clients, understanding their business and risk management needs, and determining appropriate solutions
  • Actively identifying opportunities to work with colleagues across the business to capitalise on account penetration and cross-selling opportunities
  • Developing and maintaining knowledge of relevant products and services offered by Willis Towers Watson
  • Ensuring transparency of agency and other commitments made to carriers and clients
  • Delivering optimisation of revenue from new and existing clients using the full range of appropriate placement channels and markets
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in the Political Violence market
  • Strong analytical and numeracy skills
  • ACII qualified or working towards the ACII qualification
  • Educated to degree level or relevant industry experience
  • Good working knowledge of Market Reform Contracts for Insurance and Reinsurance contracts
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain face-to-face and telephone contact with clients and Underwriters
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Excellent communication (written, oral & presentation) skills & interpersonal skills essential
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment
  • Proven track record of delivering high levels of service
  • Skilled at building effective relationships, at all levels, with clients, prospects, associates, insurers, and external specialists
