About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Detective Sergeant in the Counter Terrorism Policing department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a small team of officers and staff who are responsible for the covert investigation of priority operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of officers and staff to gather, assess, and develop intelligence to support the objectives of a CT Senior Investigating Officer (CTSIO).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with law enforcement and UK intelligence community partners.
  • Assess threat and risk, and develop effective strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including law enforcement and intelligence community partners.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to achieve shared objectives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in investigative work, with a strong understanding of intelligence handling.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to assess threat and risk, and develop effective strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Strong relationships with law enforcement and UK intelligence community partners.
