Data Center Migration Program Manager

Cigna Healthcare is seeking a highly experienced Data Center Migration Program Manager to lead a critical data center transition and closure initiative.

This role will be instrumental in overseeing the successful execution of multiple large-scale deliverables, including the establishment of an internet security zone (DMZ) and the expansion of infrastructure capacity to accommodate incoming workloads.

As the focal point for this program, you will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Portfolio Leads, Finance teams, and technical experts. Your responsibilities will encompass all aspects of project management, from planning and resource allocation to budget management, risk mitigation, and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive program plan aligned with Agile or Waterfall methodologies, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to define project scope, identify roles and responsibilities, and establish clear communication channels.
  • Develop and manage detailed delivery plans, including milestones and review points for progress tracking and reporting.
  • Proactively monitor project performance, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Provide regular status updates and reports to stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in delivering IT infrastructure projects, with a strong emphasis on security and cloud technologies.
  • Expertise in project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
