About the Role

We are seeking a Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join our team in one of our three well-established and friendly NHS Talking Therapies services: Hounslow, Hammersmith & Fulham, and Ealing.

As a Trainee PWP, you will be employed by us and attend university two days a week, while working in one of our services the remaining three days.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver brief structured supported psychological treatments, such as guided self-help, for people with anxiety and depression across the adult age range.

* Demonstrate your ability to study at postgraduate level, either through degree-level education or demonstration of academic equivalence.

Person Specification

* Evidence of ability to study successfully at undergraduate year 1 level or the equivalent (foundation degree) or successful study at level 5.

* Minimum level 2 in English and Maths.

* Work or volunteer experience with people who have experienced a mental health problem.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including telephone skills.
