About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust. As a key member of our nursing team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake delegated personal care duties for patients/clients, ensuring their dignity and well-being are maintained at all times.
  • Provide support for the Registered Nursing staff in maintaining a stable and safe clinical environment.
  • Assist with ECGs, cannulation, vena-puncture, wound care, and other clinical procedures as required.
  • Document patient care and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) and evidence of mandatory training.
  • Physical skills obtained through practice and ability to demonstrate competence in nursing procedures.
  • Ability to prioritize, plan, and act on own initiative in delivering patient/client care.
  • Supervisory experience and ability to lead less experienced staff.
