Job Title: Transport Development Support Officer

Our client, Twenty Four Seven Recruitment Services Ltd, is seeking a skilled Transport Development Support Officer to join their team in Dorchester. This temporary and contract opportunity offers a chance to work with a reputable company and gain valuable experience in the transportation industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inquiries and requests from various stakeholders, including parents, contractors, schools, and passenger assistants.
  • Liaise with internal and external parties to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office, Teams, and internal software applications to perform data entry tasks and access new applications as required.
  • Conduct route evaluations using mapping software to assess transport suitability and make informed decisions.
  • Handle initial complaints and escalate them to senior team members when necessary, maintaining accurate records of activities.
  • Organize route cover for Passenger Assistants and ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • BTEC National Certificate, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Experience and knowledge within the role's responsibilities, including standards, procedures, and health & safety.
  • Office experience, data analysis, IT proficiency, and Health & Safety application.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
