Exciting Opportunity for a Tour Accountant in the Music Industry
Handle Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tour Accountant to join our team in the Music Industry. As a leading accountancy practice, we specialize in providing accounting services to successful artists and performers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Artist and Performer Accounting: Manage the financial accounts of artists and performers, including income and expenses.
- Production and Touring Accounting: Oversee the financial aspects of productions and tours, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Working with Senior Management and Artists: Collaborate closely with senior management and artists to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets and forecasts for productions and tours.
- Bank Reconciliations, Sales, and Purchase Ledger: Ensure accurate and timely bank reconciliations, sales, and purchase ledger management.
- Tax Duties: Manage tax duties, including VAT and other tax-related matters.
- Ad-hoc Projects: Assist with ad-hoc projects as required.
Requirements:
We are looking for a candidate with previous experience in the Music Industry and Tour accounting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.
