Senior Medical Writer Opportunity

Location: Oxford – Hybrid Model (2 Days On-Site)

Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 + Benefits

We are thrilled to present an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Medical Writer to join a dynamic and independent agency located in the picturesque city of Oxford.

The ideal candidate will possess a graduate degree, such as a PhD, MSc, or BSc in a scientific discipline, along with demonstrated expertise in medical writing and content creation across various formats and audiences within a medical communications environment.

Attention to detail is paramount, coupled with a commitment to not only meet but surpass expectations. The successful applicant will be a collaborative team member, adept at managing multiple tasks and thriving in a vibrant team atmosphere. Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in intriguing and varied projects from early development through to pre-launch and post-launch phases.
  • Create accurate, balanced, and scientifically sound content for review by account leads, including but not limited to agendas, publications, presentations, and meeting materials.
  • Contribute to compelling presentations, craft inspiring briefs, and develop innovative strategies.
  • Act as a trusted strategic consultant to clients and colleagues across multiple therapeutic areas, including Oncology, Respiratory Diseases, and Women's Health.
  • Ensure all content adheres to relevant compliance standards, such as ABPI and EFPIA.
  • Propose growth opportunities to clients and provide insightful recommendations to account leads.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Scientific degree with relevant experience in a medical communications agency.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proactive and enthusiastic approach.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
