Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Gas and Ventilation Specialist to join our team at oilandgas. As a Senior Facilities Engineer, you will be responsible for providing engineering support to enable medical professionals to carry out their healthcare needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC) and Medical Gases on site, undertaking specialist works including planning in line with industry standards.
  • Write up maintenance reports and technical procedures for Building Maintenance Activities allied to HVAC and Medical Gases.
  • Carry out maintenance, inspection, and repairs to various types of ventilation and medical gas systems.
  • Diagnose faults on HVAC and Medical Gas support systems and rectify where necessary.
  • Assist in the development of maintenance routines, procedures, risk assessments, and preparing and maintaining relevant technical records.
  • Work with other craft-qualified, semi-skilled, and unskilled maintenance staff to develop cross-skilling and cover all levels and aspects of maintenance activities on a teamwork basis.
  • Assist in the training and development of other maintenance/technical staff.
  • Participate in emergency call-out arrangements and provide cover where necessary during sickness absence periods.
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience within building and facilities maintenance.
  • Level 3 qualification in a related trade.
  • Experience managing staff and subcontractors.
