We are seeking a Medical Gas & Ventilation Specialist to provide vital engineering support, enabling healthcare professionals to meet their operational needs. This full-time position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the Authorised Person (AP) for Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC) and Medical Gases, executing specialized tasks in accordance with HTM 03-01 and HTM 02-01 standards.
  • Document maintenance reports and technical procedures related to Building Maintenance Activities for HVAC and Medical Gases.
  • Perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on various ventilation and medical gas systems.
  • Diagnose and rectify faults in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Medical Gas support systems.
  • Assist in developing maintenance routines, procedures, and risk assessments while maintaining relevant technical records.
  • Collaborate with skilled and semi-skilled maintenance staff to enhance cross-training and cover all aspects of maintenance activities.
  • Support the training and development of maintenance and technical personnel.
  • Participate in emergency call-out arrangements and provide coverage during staff absences.
Ideal Candidate Profile:

Essential Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in building and facilities maintenance.
  • Level 3 qualification in a relevant trade.
  • Proven experience in managing staff and subcontractors.
