We are currently seeking a Medical Gas & Ventilation Systems Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves delivering engineering support that empowers healthcare professionals to meet their operational needs effectively. This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours of commitment each week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Authorised Person (AP) for Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC) and Medical Gases, overseeing specialized tasks in accordance with relevant guidelines.
- Document maintenance reports and technical procedures related to Building Maintenance Activities concerning HVAC and Medical Gases.
- Perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on various ventilation and medical gas systems.
- Identify and resolve faults in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Medical Gas support systems.
- Contribute to the creation of maintenance routines, procedures, and risk assessments while maintaining accurate technical records.
- Collaborate with other skilled and semi-skilled maintenance personnel to enhance cross-training and ensure comprehensive maintenance coverage.
- Assist in the training and development of fellow maintenance and technical staff.
- Participate in emergency response protocols and provide coverage during staff absences.
Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in building and facilities maintenance.
- Level 3 qualification in a relevant trade.
- Proven experience in managing staff and subcontractors.
