About the Role

As a Prison Security Escort with SkyBlue Solutions, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' facilities. You will work closely with the prison service to assist in the maintenance of the buildings, escorting and overseeing contractors as they complete their work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Security Clearance: Verify the identification of contractors and ensure they have been briefed on security measures.
  • Contractor Management: Book in and out contractors, create tool lists, and oversee their work while they are on site.
  • Radio Communication: Use radios to request permission to move contractors within the facility.
  • Tool Accountability: Ensure all contractor tools are accounted for prior to leaving the work area.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Possess good communication skills to effectively interact with contractors and prison staff.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate excellent attention to detail to ensure security protocols are followed.
  • Safety Consciousness: Be safety conscious and aware of potential risks in the secure environment.
  • UK Residency: Have been living in the UK for the past 3+ years.
  • Security Vetting: Be able to pass security vetting, including providing references and passing security police checks.
