About the Role

As a Prison Security Escort with SkyBlue Solutions, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' facilities. You will work closely with the prison service to assist in the maintenance of the buildings, escorting and overseeing contractors as they complete their work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Security Clearance: Verify the identification of contractors and ensure they have been briefed on security measures.
  • Contractor Management: Book in and out contractors, create tool lists, and oversee their work while they are on site.
  • Radio Communication: Use radios to request permission to move contractors within the facility.
  • Tool Accountability: Check that contractors' tools are accounted for before they leave the work area.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Possess good communication skills to effectively interact with contractors and other stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate excellent attention to detail to ensure the security and safety of the facility.
  • Safety Consciousness: Be safety conscious and aware of potential risks and hazards.
  • Security Vetting: Be able to pass security vetting, including providing references, passing security police checks, and providing photo identification.
