We are seeking a highly skilled Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team at Arc Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our company's financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and input invoices and credit notes in a timely and accurate manner
  • Reconcile statements and maintain accurate financial records
  • Liaise with suppliers and other departments to ensure efficient processing of invoices and payments
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve timely and accurate financial processing

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial processing
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications
  • Knowledge of general ledger accounting principles and financial regulations
  • Ability to perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Candidates must have Maths and English GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent) and be an intermediate level user of Excel. The position is offered on a temporary to permanent basis with a salary of £25,000 per annum.
